Anberin Pasha was inducted as SCV’s Young Scholar of the Year

On October 27, 2018 Anberin Pasha was inducted as SCV’s Young Scholar of the Year for her work as director and producer of the documentary film about Saint Maria of Paris “Love to the End”. Click HERE for pictures from the evening at Maliotis Cultural Center.
She was inspired to the tell the story of Mother Maria of Paris whose unconditional love for people in need and in trouble led her, her chaplain Fr. Dimitry Klepinine and her son Yuri Skobstov, and Ilya Fondaminsky to be arrested by the Gestapo in Paris in 1943 for helping Jewish families.
The documentary weaves Saint Maria’s story with the lives of three contemporary American women whose lives were transformed by their trials and by the grace of divine love that she embodied, leading them to a deeper understanding on their journeys as ex-wives, mothers and professionals.
This film helps each person experience and celebrate the power of love as a divine blessing which helps us navigate the rough seas of life.
